I have over 11 years of experience across a diverse array of feature film and broadcast television projects, scripted and unscripted. In 2014 I was nominated for "Best Editing - Short Film" (for RABBIT) at the Australian Screen Editors Guild Awards, and in 2015 REG MAKES CONTACT was nominated for an AACTA award for best short film (Australian Academy Awards).
My credits include the acclaimed ABC TV documentary PAPER TRAILS (2017), feature films EXIT (2011), THE MULE (additional editor, 2014) and A BRILLIANT GENOCIDE (additional editor, 2016), and numerous short films across multiple genres including international festival-favourites WATER (2017), FIRST CONTACT (2012) and THE DISAPPEARANCE OF WILLIE BINGHAM (2015).
Early in my career, my drama and comedy skills were critiqued and sharpened while assembling scenes for OFFSPRING, TOP OF THE LAKE, and HAWKE. Amongst my other assistant credits are the lauded documentaries THE FORGOTTEN AUSTRALIANS and INSIDE THE FIRESTORM, and the animated feature where I gained my start in post production, MARY AND MAX.
I have a background in songwriting and music production which informs my natural feel for the innate rhythms of editing. My music video experience has honed my eye for the indelible image and the power created by the impeccable timing of picture and sound.
I attained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with majors in Screen Production and Journalism, at Griffith University in 2004. I've been an active member of the Australian Screen Editors Guild since 2007.
I'm based in Brunswick, Melbourne, Australia, and available to collaborate anywhere in the world.
